Continuous Teacher Professional Development Program
Technology is reshaping education. Teachers who use digital skills and AI save time and teach better. CTPDP gives them AI, AR and digital-tool skills through practical, hands-on training, all year long.
How it works
A group of 30 teachers
Membership is open to teachers in groups of 30.
Every fortnight, all year
Two 45-minute online sessions a month, at fixed, convenient times, with leading educators and experts from India and abroad.
Never miss a session
Recordings are available for anyone who misses a session. An advisory helpline gives support in between.
A yearly event
A grand gathering once a year at a good location in India is being planned.
What the sessions cover
Artificial intelligence: what, why and how
Prompting, ChatGPT and better tools. Lesson plans, slides, quizzes, question papers and videos by prompting, mostly with free tools. Circulars and emails to parents and students. Learn a new language by chatting. Talk to a historical figure such as Jawaharlal Nehru. Write a story with AI.
AR and VR
Bring lessons to life: making a Merge Cube, Merge Explorer and Object Viewer, Drive to the Moon and Mars, solve a mystery as a detective, ancient civilisations, HoloGlobe, and maths concepts in AR.
Sessions by international experts
One or two sessions by experts from TCEA, MERGE EDU or a US educator.
Choice Theory and Reality Therapy
Dr William Glasser's approach: become a quality teacher, manage student and teacher behaviour, change for success, mental health and happiness.
Digital tools and skills
Hand-picked free web tools for every subject, and how to get the most from them. Subject slide decks, game-based slides such as a quiz show, word and geometry puzzles, crosswords and word searches. Time savers.
And more
News on international competitions for students, organising tools such as Symbaloo, Chrome extensions, graphic organisers, free software, simulations and applets, and tools for language and public speaking.
